SUMMARY:
Marketing Assistant
Salary :Depending on Experience

• To support the Marketing Manager and wider Brand team in developing and executing in store Trade, Online, Public Relations and Influencer strategies in line with business objectives.
• Related tertiary qualifications, degree or diploma in Marketing or Communications from an accredited educational institution
• 1 year (minimum) work experience in a similar role
• Retail fashion industry experience advantageous
• Good creative writing skills and an ability to interpret the brand voice
• Good knowledge, understanding and passion for public relations
• A sound understanding of communication and marketing principles
• Demonstrates good judgement, confidence, creativity and a high energy level with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and converging deadlines
• Ability to prioritise competing priorities and deadlines. STRONG Organisational skills
• Liaise with supplier to manage the signage process from initiation to execution in store.
• Manage process of supplying stores with tactical/promotional signage as and when required
• Keep accurate record of signage library on hand for referencing purposes
• Assist with the organisation and execution of in-store events, initiatives and store opening campaigns
• Liaise with local shopping centre marketing teams and coordinate their marketing and advertising requirements including VIP events, campaign and sales advertising
• Manage the shopping centre marketing calendar and ensure all opportunities are being maximised
• Contribute to local PR strategy with guidance from Marketing Manager
• Build relationships with key media and publications that will benefit the brand and business objectives
• Update and maintain media list
• Support with drafting external communications for PR initiatives, upholding brand voice and integrity
• Compile monthly reports
• Coordinate gifting process with guidance from Marketing Manager
• Assist with compiling reports
• Content Management: Plan and populate social media content calendars by sourcing imagery/video & writing suitable copy for posts, in line with the company social media strategy 
• Community Management: Build, grow and manage all social media communities by analysing page performance, interacting with customers and redirecting queries to relevant departments
• Maintain weekly reports of total followers by channel and relevant engagement rates. Track against set KPIs and flag any concerns with Marketing Manager
• Monitor and provide regular updates on the social initiatives of competitor’s local and abroad, looking for new ideas that can be adapted for the local market
