SUMMARY:
Our client a Company with a focus in Fibre Infrustructure is in the market for a talented and competitive Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment and will be responsible for gaining interest and securing contracts for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’S) in identified areas within the Eastern Cape Region where they are actively building fibre infrastructure for themselves and their supporting partners

Responsibilities
The incumbent is comfortable achieving and exceeding targets outlined by achieving calls per day to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets by working to gain the details of decision makers, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales
Plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
Targets pipeline growth through new development opportunities and existing residential complex (MDU) opportunities, to manage farm and be hungry and pro-active within sourcing sales through pipeline management and engagement 

Key Performance Areas

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead allocations and outbound cold calls
  • Be resourceful and make use of the company tools provided to source appropriate and specific opportunities to add and manage pipeline opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas in line with company expectations
  • Research and prospect new areas, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals where necessary
  • Maintain and update daily admin | reporting responsibilities
  • Maintain and update Technology CRM platforms which support the business and our partners
  • Collaboration across internal stakeholder divisional teams to maximize sales efficiencies
  • Ensure accurate completion and capture of legal documents which support the sales process

Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong proven sales experience in a similar industry with a track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and proactive sales approach to both inbound and outbound target audiences with a strong familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Shows the ability to work under pressure and to meet sales deadlines with a ken eye for customer service and excellence
  • Computer use competency on Microsoft Word and Excel and expresses strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, self-managed with strong time management and driven to exceed with a strong focus on attention to details
Qualifications and Expirience
  • Minimum 2 years working in a sales role 
  • Marketing experience beneficial
  • Ideally industry knowledge or similar technical or fibre background
  • Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
