MICROSOFT 365 ADMINISTRATOR

SUMMARY:
Administer and configure the 365 environment. Support, advise, train, and educate users.

POSITION INFO:

Your Formal Education:

• BCom Degree/ BSc / or relevant;
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate;
• Microsoft 365 Identity and Services;
• Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security;

as well as experience:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in MS Azure Active Directory;
• A minimum of two years’ experience with Microsoft 365 user administration;
• A minimum of two years implementing and managing Microsoft 365 apps & services;
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems;
• Good interpersonal and time management skills;
• Good communication and customer service skills;
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities;

will enable you to do the following duties:

Administer and configure the environment. Support, advise, train, and educate users.

New Services:

• Support consulting service provider in the following:
  • consulting
  • evaluation
  • design
  • planning and
  • implementation of custom developed solutions.
• Support consulting service provider in the implementation of improvement projects.

Support Existing Services:

• Manage access and authentication
• Troubleshoot and resolve logged end user support requests to agreed service levels.
• Configure, administer and maintain Microsoft 365 apps and services to business requirements. This includes but is not limited to:
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft PowerAutomate
  • Microsoft Yammer
  • Microsoft Forms
• Where required, escalate to the appropriate 3^rd party support provider and manage the resolution thereof.
• Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
• Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
• Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
• Keeping up to date and communicate updates to or release of new Microsoft 365 services

Train/Educate Users:

• Provide Microsoft 365 app and service end-user training.
• Stay up to date with changes and improvements to Microsoft 365 apps and services ensure users can be assist effectively.
