UK-based Mortgage Consultants seek a Mortgage Coordinator to expedite the mortgage process from start to finish. Once the Qualified IFA/Mortgage Consultant has pre-approved a new client with a lender and obtained a commitment to proceed (paid 1st Fee), the Mortgage Consultant will designate you to hold the client''s hand until completion of the mortgage transaction. You will send the New Client a Shopping List of Documents that needs gathering and signing and then upload the docs to a Specific Lenders Portal/Platform, you will need to double-check the correct shopping list with a specific lender. You will call/zoom the client and introduces yourself and explain the processes. Hereon in, you SIMPLIFY the lengthy email of requirements and Wins rapport with the client, work with and motivate the client to return all documents (in a correct and timely manner) – bank statements, payslips, POA/ID, employers references, credit card statements, other bank statements, etc etc etc, receive bank soft copies of the above, ensure they are all complete, accurate and ID’s any anomalies from the original pre-approval, upload the application to the lenders portal, then chase the lender and keep the client abreast of progress.  Sort out any issues the lender raises and satisfy them with the client. Once underwritten, you manage the valuation of the property. You will push/chase the lender for the Formal Mortgage Offer, issue it to the client when they pay our final broker fee and facilitates the client working with their own solicitor to complete the transaction. You need to be able to Get to the Point, Resolve Ambiguity, Resolve case impasses, make the client feel like their most important client, and instill confidence in the client that they are the best at getting their application approved, and keep clients abreast of progress. You will need a fast internet line and an inverter for power cuts.
