POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operating of Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain controlled CNC machines.
• Working to fine tolerances (0,03mm) as per customers’ requirements
• Reading and interpreting of engineering drawings
• Take accurate measurements on Precision Measuring instruments and measure finished products according to customers drawings
• Adjusting of programs to suit material
• Guiding/Overseeing/teaching junior machinists and operators

• Matric or NQF equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and CNC Programming/Operations/Setting.
• CAD / CAM Software experience- Mastercam
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities
• Competent using measuring equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to plan work on multiple machines to keep spindles turning
