Overview

As part of the Maintenance Team, you are responsible for ensuring the general upkeep of the lodge. You are required to ensure that the lodge remains at 5* standard and that we are fully functional. 

Responsibilities

• Performing different tasks across maintenance and gardening
• Perform proactive maintenance
• Continually check all equipment/pumps/boreholes/vehicles
• Maintain swimming pools
• Maintain all guest areas
• Assist with any sustainability or recycling requirements at the lodge

Requirements

• No less than 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working in a 5* lodge
• Strong background in electrical maintenance
• Understand the lodge maintenance requirement
• Know how to safely use the maintenance equipment
• Drivers licence is essential

Position Details

• Contract type: Permanent & on site
• Site: Thornybush Game Lodge (Hoedspruit)
• Work Cycle: 6 weeks on : 2 weeks off
• Benefits: Provident Fund
• Salary: Cash + 7.5% provident fund contribution
