Maintenance Foreman - Frankfort & Villiers

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• Qualified Millwright/ Electrician (Trade Certificate)
• 15 year's post-trade experience
• Experience within the Grain Industry will serve as recommendation
• Proven experience in the management and completion of Maintenance Projects is essential
• Computer literate in the MS Office package

Duties 

• Manage Maintenance Projects from start to completion
• Procurement of maintenance parts approved mandate and tenders
• Give inputs with regards to capital projects
• Effectively manage approved budgets for projects
• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule is updated and adhered to
• Ensure adherence to all legal frameworks, policies and procedures
• Continuously audit and ensure compliance the OHS Act within the department's workshops
• Together with the relevant Site Managers, ensure that all the electrical equipment runs optimally and safely
• Continuous liaison with internal and external departments with regards to planned projects, maintenance schedules and budgets
• Troubleshooting and resolution of electrical faults as given through by Site Managers
• Stay abreast of leading electrical technologies to ensure effective use, power saving and safety
