POSITION INFO:

Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee statutory reporting and audits
Analyse budget vs. actual performance and report financial KPIs
Contribute to Financial Planning & Analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reports
Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making
Manage accounting ledgers and ensure accurate revenue recognition
Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
Support Accounts Payable and Billing, ensuring timely transactions
Maintain and update fixed asset records
Assist with tax calculations and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Review and improve financial processes and controls
Ensure statutory filing requirements are met
Assist in financial compliance and regulatory reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a related field
Experience working within the fintech or financial services industry is highly advantageous
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with financial software and tools (ERP systems, spreadsheets, etc.)
Exposure to internal controls, compliance standards, and financial audits
Ability to work within an unstructured environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders
High proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.)
Advanced skills in Excel, with knowledge of other financial software being a plus
Experience managing multiple legal entities within a regulated industry is advantageous
Familiarity with NetSuite or similar general ledger systems is preferred

Qualification:
Completed bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
Qualified CA(SA)
