POSITION INFO:

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

To manage the workflow processes in a debt collection and Accounts Receivables sections

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Account Administration
Journal processing/Approvals
Supervision/Management:
Reporting/Analysis
Prepare Accounts Receivable reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Extensive knowledge of ITS systems, excel, word, Oracle Discoverer, and file directory. A sound knowledge of institutional policy and procedures regarding collections, write-offs, and bad debts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for appointment to this post, the candidate must have

Matric and Diploma in Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting.
At least a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a student accounts environment, with two years’ experience at the supervisory level.
Experience in the Higher Education sector environment will be an added advantage
