SUMMARY:
DBN000027 - Volunteer Manager – Malawi

Purpose of the Job:
Successfully and professionally managing all Volunteers and Volunteer activities.

Required Qualifications:

Guiding experience in Africa / previous volunteer Management in a Conservation role in Africa.
Guides Course (FGSA) preferred
Ability to work in remote areas in Africa

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Good understanding of wildlife environment in Africa
Deal with clients confidently
Planning logistics for arrival/departure of volunteers
Planning orders and purchasing of supplies needed
Plan and participate in all daily activities (park maintenance, anti – poaching, wildlife feeding, data capturing, ecology sessions, birding etc.
Creating content and posting on social media pages

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and accountability.
Adaptable and able to perform under pressure.
