Manufacturing Maximo Stores Supervisor (Forklift Cert), Richards Bay, Rneg + Ben + Comp Housing

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma/ Degree in Finance will be an added
• At least 5 years stores work experience and exposure to clerical stores related
• Physically fit, able to carry out physical work where
• Good interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Good quality, safety and housekeeping
• Computer literacy (Microsoft package, Maximo and SYSPRO)
• Organizing/attending to the housekeeping of various sections of the stores areas and to take remedial and preventative actions.
• Receiving verbal/written instructions or interpreting standard operating procedures to determine applications involved with issuing/receiving and the administrative applications for a range of commodities/products.
• Physically checking the status of the Inventory items (stores)g. correct binning of items, etc.) and proceeding with the organizing and extracting a report on the stock status from the systems.
• Checking that the appropriate authority has approved all the requests.
• Using a forklift, undertake the issuing, receiving and storage of goods.
• Informing the immediate superior/ end user of any deviations observed on received
• Ensures that all inventory items are stored and labelled appropriately to prevent damage or
• Conduct weekly, monthly, half yearly and annual stock counts and recording the quantity on a stock count form.
• Manage the items listed on the Maximo Picking and Reservation list made available when required.
• Address and remedy incomplete work
• Ensures that all materials are correctly scanned to the operation, transfer is done on the correct batch
• Checking quantities and prices detailed on
• Engaging with various departments and exchanges information with regards to stock status, new stock
