Job Purpose
Based at a contracted BevCo distributor’s premises, the primary purpose is to direct growth of BevCo’s portfolio into a defined geography, acting on behalf of the distributor – must have intimate knowledge of the geography and BevCo’s strategic growth objectives
Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Account Development
• Achieve sales/brands volume targets in identified geography
• Manage price to regional recommended selling prices per geographic guidelines
• Ensure sales calling is executed according to the defined guidelines for the role
• Execute BTL merchandising according to the regional marketing plan
• Handle Customer and Consumer complaints and queries
• Manage product quality in relation to the Company’s quality standards
• Manage sales administration requirements
• Develop and manage sound customer relationships
• Ensure verification checks on Company assets (refrigeration)
Customer Management Objectives
• To actively assist and motivate the distributor to grow its base of outlets for BevCo in line with distribution targets
• To develop in-market customer relationships with key BevCo and distributor retailers – build a database
• To ensure company assets (refrigeration; systems; tablets) are managed per BevCo governance requirement
Sales and Trade Marketing Objectives
• To actively drive, in conjunction with the distributor , the achievement of BevCo sales targets in the geography
• To assist in execution of the marketing plan for the area as required (incl activations, promotions, fridges, POSM)
• To facilitate informal retailers to direct BevCo purchases from the distributor
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 • Up to 2 years experience (Operational Execution) FMCG, experience in sales • Basic knowledge of PC, or potential to acquire it
