Short Description:
The role of this position is to aid and support the Marketing Team in achieving their objective to exceed customer expectations.
REPORTING:
o Compile Price reports for different customers.
o Compile customer performance reports and discuss with Operations manager.
o Compile grower payment reports on a bi-weekly basis.
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION:
o Communicate weekly availability with select customers.
o Follow up with market agents on current trends and outstanding consignments.
o Respond to daily queries on delays, quality, and other related issues.
o Follow up on claims, rejects and other account related issues needing corrective action.
PACKHOUSE
o Monitor stock volumes of different products. Stock received, stock packed, stock on hand and waste volumes. This is important for strategizing sales volumes.
o Waste monitoring throughout packhouse.
o Queries and reconciling differences between pack system and accounts system.
ADMINISTRATION
o Updating of product costings on the packhouse system.
o Facilitating, assisting, and ensuring compliance with various auditing bodies. GlobalGAP, Farming for the Future etc.
o Packaging material monitoring and tracking.
Education: Marketing related degree (Administrative experience (Beneficial)
Reporting Structure: Will report to and work with the operations manager.
