Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative:

The President launched the initiative in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labor department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Marketing Intern

Stipend: R6000.00

Location: Lynwood (Pretoria)

POSITION INFO:
The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, creating content, managing social media, and analysing marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the programme before
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
Create engaging content for social media, website, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Monitor and manage social media platforms, including scheduling posts and engaging with the audience.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
Assist in organizing promotional events, activations, and trade shows.
Update and maintain the marketing database and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Analyze marketing performance data and prepare basic reports and presentations.
Support the design and distribution of promotional materials and digital assets.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, design, and product development.
Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
