SUMMARY:
Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Midrand
Remuneration: R25 000 - R30 000

Our client, a specialist in network devices, is looking to employ a Marketing Manager to join their team in Midrand.
The marketing, manager should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behaviour trends and generate creative ideas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducting Market Research: Gather insights into customer requirements, habits, and trends to inform marketing strategies.
Develop Creative Campaigns: Brainstorm and create innovative marketing campaigns tailored to roadshows and conferences
Marketing Activities: Assist in outbound and inbound marketing efforts, focusing on content development, advertising, and event planning.
Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns, ensuring seamless execution.
Brand Awareness Coordination: work with marketing departments of partners and other professionals to align brand awareness and marketing efforts across all events.
Target Audience Engagement: Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through channels like social media, email, and event marketing.
Marketing Data Analysis: Assist in analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic) to refine future marketing strategies.
Marketing Plan Execution: Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned, ensuring timely completion.
Marketing Collateral Management: Control and manage marketing collateral materials such as brochures, banners, and promotional items for roadshows and conferences.
Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective execution of collateral.
Event Logistics Coordination: Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering and technical equipment setup.
Budget Management: Assist in managing event budgets ensuring accurate cost tracking and reconciliation.
Post-event Analysis: Conduct evaluations and prepare detailed reports highlighting event outcomes and areas for improvement.
Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners.

POSITION INFO:
Required qualification and working knowledge:

Degree in Marketing
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager
Understanding of marketing elements (traditional and digital marketing such as SEO and social media)
Experience in marketing data analytics and tools
Experience with marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics and Google AdWords)
