SUMMARY:
Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer required to develop marketing strategies that assist the company in achieving its organizational goals aswell as improving the companies corporate profile through the development of its online presence.

Reporting to the board of directors the marketing specialist is responsible for developing and executing overall strategy for social media, online and digital marketing programs.

This position will be responsible for targeting customers through the use of social media and select online media platforms aswell as using the company website and online branding.

To create digital marketing strategies including search engine marketing (SEM), pay per click (PPC) advertising and search engine optimization (SEO) to promote the companies products and corporate image.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma/Certificate preferred
Minimum of 2 years relevant graphic design and marketing experience
Proficient in relevant graphic design software
Proficient in social media platforms
Creative thinker

Key Responsibilities:

To amplify the brand
Create a strong corporate identity
Responsible for all marketing material including branding, signage, brochures etc
Maintain all online social media platforms i.e websites, Facebook, newsletters etc
Product launches
Social Responsibility & Charities

Key Activities:

Graphic Design – brochures, signage, pamphlets, adverts, uniforms, promotions, products etc
Product identification, categorization and strategy to increase sales
Photography – website and advertising material
Website design and creation including SEO and PPC
Market analysis and feedback

Outcomes:

Clear strategy in terms of product identification and target markets
Focused sales and marketing strategy per product
Uniform corporate branding and imagery throughout the company
Increased sales
Improved corporate image
