(Jnr + Snr) to join their team in Airport City.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Airframe Systems (Jnr + Snr)
Location: Cape town - Airport City
Salary: Market related
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Junior Level: 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering with foundational CAD skills.
- Senior Level: 3+ years of experience in airframe or aerospace system design.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor), with experience in FEA tools.

Beneficial requirements:

Technical Skills: Knowledge of structural analysis and materials science preferred.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to solve complex engineering challenges, with senior engineers demonstrating a high level of autonomy.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset; senior engineers should demonstrate leadership capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical solutions for airframe components, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models, performing FEA analyses to verify structural integrity.
Assist with prototyping and testing, analyzing results to refine and improve designs.
Prepare technical documentation and reports to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration of airframe systems into larger projects.
