Mechanical Fitter- Midrand-Jhb

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking to hire a hard-working and skilled fitter to fabric fit, and assemble the structural components of various mechanical systems, conveyor and automated systems. The fitter''''s responsibilities include but not limited to:

Following detailed assembly drawings

Installation of mechanical and electrical systems

Any repairs that may be required

Follow any adhoc duties presented by team leaders

Creating suitable maintenance schedules for all equipment on site

Replacing damaged or defective items.

Inspecting supplied parts and fabricated products delivered to site

Perform planned on site maintenance accordingly

Adhering to all work site safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent education
Red Seal or equivalent qualification as a mechanical fitter
Proven experience working as a mechanical fitter
Own Car
Ability to use various hand tools
Ability to understand and interpret mechanical and installation drawings
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication, timekeeping, and organisational skills
Ability to work with others
