POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technician with a strong hospital engineering background to join their team. This position requires a qualified technician to ensure the smooth operation of hospital equipment and infrastructure, supporting the highest quality care for their patients. The ideal candidate must have a medical technology degree and technical expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment and hospital infrastructure
- Provide technical support to clinical and medical teams to ensure smooth hospital operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on medical equipment
- Assist in the installation and calibration of new medical devices
- Document and report all maintenance activities, repairs, and improvements
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are compliant with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Background in Hospital Engineering is preferred
- Proven experience working in a medical or hospital environment
- Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment and hospital systems
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Work Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 to 13:00
