SUMMARY:
Merchandiser

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining good housekeeping
Packing of stock in the stores
Comply with stipulated merchandising standards
Maintaining stock levels in stores and reporting low stock levels
Assisting suppliers when receiving stock
Ensure the fastest selling lines are on display
Issuing of floor stock and handles according to factory demand
Reporting any stock / handle defects
Stock take and stock control
Engage the customer to implement the brand priority document
Ensure all stock has appropriate pricing labels
Follow-up on any discrepancies from suppliers
Escalate complaints to supervisor/KAM/Sales rep depending on the nature of complaint
Duties as required by the Production Manager
Adhering to safe practices within stores environment

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must have Grade 12
1-2 years Merchandising working experience
Drivers'' license will be an added advantage
Tertiary qualification(s) will be an added advantage
Experience in receiving and issuing stock
Stock take experience
Computer literate
Numerical skills
Sober habits
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Overtime if necessary
