Job Description: The Micro Loan Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire micro-loan process from client acquisition, loan processing, and approval to repayment management. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse clients. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of micro-loans to underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Loan Management: Oversee the administration and management of micro-loans from start to finish, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
• Client Interaction: Work closely with applicants to assess their needs, guide them through the application process, and ensure clarity on loan terms and repayment schedules.
• Risk Assessment: Analyze loan applications to determine the viability and financial stability of applicants, ensuring responsible lending practices are followed.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor loan portfolios, track repayments, and generate regular reports on loan performance and delinquency rates.
• Compliance: Ensure all loan operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
• Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to borrowers, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face during the loan repayment process.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other departments (e.g., collections, legal, customer service) to resolve any loan-related issues and improve processes.
• Drive Business Growth: Demonstrate the ability to increase business turnover through strategic planning, innovative approaches, and effective market expansion.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in microfinance, lending, or financial services (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of microloan programs, lending procedures, and financial products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using financial management software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards in the microfinance industry.
Job Requirements:
• Staff Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and leading teams, with a proven track record of fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Strong Accounting and Analytical Skills: Proficient in accounting principles and mathematical analysis, with the ability to assess financial data and make informed decisions.
