This is a full time, 5-day per week on-site/in-office job (possible consideration to 2-days remote work may be considered).

This opportunity for an impressive and skilled Writer is a fixed term contract with potential to be extended and possibly to go permanent.

My client are an established, niche Branding Design agency.

Your role will include things like: ideation, conceptual & creative writing as well as tweaking (somebody else's) existing copy. Editing. Content Creation. Grammar and fact checking. English language. Proofreading and QA. Descriptions. Detailed stories. Short form. Newsletters. Quirky. Serious. Long form. Digital. Integrated. Considered. Smart. Words.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Be part of a small, hard working team who create impactful communication and crafted, memorable Brand Identities.

You will have the opportunity to do some beautiful work and support incredible design with your words and rationale.

Sometimes less glamorous work will be required too. Work on big brands and new brands. On products and services.

Lifestyle and Financial. Aspirational and alcohol. Inspirational words and educational. Instructional and Retail. All sorts.... you will need to be able to adapt, think and sometimes do both & write really quickly (and well) never compromising on quality.

Revisions, roll out, resizing....Conceptual design too but also adaptations.

Your passion for beautifully crafted pieces will be recognised.

This opportunity for a seasoned Copywriter not looking to win awards but who does care about stellar work.

Ideally you have a minimum of 8 years working as a Creative/Conceptual copywriter in a high pressured environment
A solid track record of impressive timeous, quality delivery

Understanding and experience working in the written word: long form and short form copy.

This role requires someone who...

- can communicate professionally & respectfully
- has an eye for detail (this includes things like spelling, grammar, punctuations, alignment, obvious visual inaccuracies, etc)
- breathes, lives, reads & writes English
- is a wordsmith
- is not precious or driven only by their ego
- can work weekends or long hours (but will communicate ahead of exploding & understands this will not be the norm altho required in busy patches)
- understands TTL
- may have an understanding of SEO
- has experience in Social Media/Content
- has grit
- is open to other ideas and concepts
- will try harder when required
- is talented
- respects deadlines (even near impossible ones)
