SUMMARY:

An opportunity to join a well-known FMCG concern for a Millwright in Johannesburg South.

POSITION INFO:
The purpose of this role is to maximize the profitability of the business, through achieving the following:

Efficient repairs and maintenance of factory equipment
Following all relevant policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

Ensure maximum machine availability through effective repairs and maintenance on all factory equipment (Mechanical and Electrical)
Ensure that all job cards and scheduled maintenance is completed timeously as per relevant checklists
Effective utilization of machinery and timeous reporting on non-conformance & deviations
Report requirements for critical spares & equipment
Housekeeping of the workshop area, engineering stores and equipment in the factory
New projects, commissioning and installation involvement
Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements

Requirements:

Millwright - Trade Test
Relevant qualification - National Diploma or similar
At least 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the following:
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- PLC fault finding
- VSD & Invertor fault finding
