SUMMARY:
FMCG Company based in Bronkhorstspruit seeks to employ a day-shift Millwright that will be the responsible Artisan for the whole plant.

POSITION INFO:
Note:

The role is a day shift role with no shift allowance and minimum overtime

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve them promptly.
Conduct inspections and assessments of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and areas for improvement.
Install new machinery and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in millwright techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship program.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing repairs.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
Experience in plastic manufacturing will be a definite advantage
