SUMMARY:
Well established company in JHN South seeks a Millwright from Plastics industry
POSITION INFO:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum work experience of 5 years
- Previous experience in PLASTICS INDUSTRY ESSENTIAL- focus will be on extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, chillers and compressors.
- Red Seal Qualification advantageous
- Experience on PLC programming and troubleshooting: 2-3 years
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Maintenance Department (including but not limited to plumbing, building and various mechanical duties)
Duties will include:
- Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Installation or relocation of Extruder Line, Granulators, Injection Moulding machine
- Commissioning or decommissioning of machines
- Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineries
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
- Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machineries
