POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose
The role of the Millwright/Technician is to wire, repair, service and install equipment / machinery manufactured and assembled. Electrical panel assembly and design for PLC integrated systems
 
Required Education & Experience

• Trade-tested Millwright or Red seal or similar qualification would be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Experience within a production environment.
• Excellent Fault-Finding Skills.
• Knowledge of 3 phase systems and DC supplies (Less than 500 Amp)
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical systems, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meets specifications.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
• Required to travel on occasion
