SUMMARY:
Our client is an independent supplier of components to the South African motor industry, with facilities in Gqeberha and East London, we produce a number of products exported globally by its original equipment manufacturing (OEM) customers.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

Corrective and preventative maintenance program recording and completion
Attending mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Preventative maintenance on moulding machines
Starting and shutting down machines
Preheating of moulding tools
Maintaining robot and emulate
Loading programmes and tool changing on machines
Record spares used or removed from the technical store
Ensure safety systems are active and defective items are replaced on machine and equipment

Skills

Mechanical and Electrical
Reliable, tolerant and self-driven
Ability to analyse, fault find, and problem solve
Communication skills
Strong focus on OHS

Qualifications & Experience:

Millwright Trade test
Matric/N3
