POSITION INFO:
Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery used in pet food manufacturing, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and processing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions promptly to ensure continuous operation.
• Fabricate and modify parts as needed to improve machine performance or resolve issues.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and support new equipment installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial manufacturing setting, preferably within the food or pet food industry.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gears, and other mechanical components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
