Responsibilities
• Be a Master Operator for all machines at Ikwezi operations including but not limited to Front end loaders, tipper trucks, TLB, Bob cat, Terex crusher, Screening plant.
• Meet daily production targets per activity for each machine.
• Ensure proper machine upkeeping and machine cleanliness and reporting on machine damage.
• Ensure all accidents on machines are reported immediately.
• Conduct and deliver an accident investigation report within 24 hours of the incident and take action including counselling, disciplinary action on the operator, future mitigation.
• Follow machined repair with the mechanic and have a timeline by which the machine will be brought back into operation timely.
• Ensure that diesel tanks are locked at all times and keys are delivered as per the SOP.
• Conduct inspections on the machines and report any damage, sabotage, accident, major/minor failure/breakdown etc.
