SUMMARY:
Motor Vehicle Technician - Hermanus - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
My client, a well-established dealership, is looking for a technician with franchise experience to join them asap.

Requirements

Franchise experience - e.g Volkswagen; Mercedes; Toyota
Qualified technician with a Motor Vehicle Trade Test
Minimum of 2 years experience after qualifying
Must be serious about relocating to Hermanus
Contactable references and clear criminal record
Valid SA driver's license

Responsibilities:

Service and repair all vehicles booked into the dealership
Diagnose and report findings accurately
Maintain and update diagnostic tools
Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
Notify management of any service-related issues
Check in customers and follow up with clients
Update job cards with accurate and detailed information on service/repairs
Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
Plan production efficiently
Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
Maintain good communication with head office and customers
Follow up with customers after service
