Motor Vehicle Technician (6-month contract)

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract to support our client’s operations in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of motor vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues efficiently.
• Replace and repair components including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Accurately document work performed and parts used on service orders.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide excellent customer service and meet deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technical information and industry standards.

• Trade qualification as a Motor Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in motor vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with Toyota or Ford.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
