Area: Oudtshoorn, Western Cape

Salary: R8300 P/M

Purpose of position: Perform functional tasks e.g. mounting and demounting, wheel balancing, repairs, surveys, scraps, breakdowns etc.

Duties:

• Perform functional tasks e.g. mounting and demounting, w/b, repairs, surveys, scraps, breakdowns etc. asper Job Description.
• Maintain Health & Safety and Housekeeping standards.
• Provide customer service excellence and contribute to branch profitability.
• Adhere to administrative procedures according to company policies & procedures and standards and
• objectives in order to contribute to overall efficiency.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time e.g. Attending to vehicles checks and urgent attention items,
• Attending to fleet maintenance, controlling asset register, assisting with stock takes, Time &
• attendance recording of associates, etc.

Skills and experience required:

• Code 08 Drivers License.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to work independently as a self- starter within the team.
• A minimum of 2 years in the tyre industry with stripping and fitting experience, specifically in OTR tyres.
• Physically fit and able to perform high physical degree of work.

Qualification required:

Matric (Grade 12)
