SUMMARY:
Manage operationally strategic accounts (clients). Focus on quality, client relations and innovative integrated solutions. Must come from a Private Security background.

POSITION INFO:

NATIONAL GENERAL MANAGER - GUARDING

Purpose:  Manage operationally strategic accounts (clients). Focus on quality, client relations and innovative integrated solutions.

This vacancy is reserved for applicants in terms of the EE Act.

Experience within the Private Security Sector essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible for managing Key and Strategic Accounts, ensuring quality, maintaining client relations, and ensuring solutions development

Managing Quality functions in the Division ranging from ISO, internal audits, firearms, OHS, POPIA, K9 and Risk

Developing and managing Fleet Control Room Functions

Overseeing Logistics and Fleet Management in the Division

Responsible for Management Development and Succession Planning

Managing special Private Security Operational Projects as and when identified

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED:

Grade A

At least 3 years branch or regional management experience

Security Diploma and / or Middle Management Development Program preferable

Strong financial acumen preferred

Very strong track record of managing quality function and systems essential

Senior Security Manager or equivalent exposure for at least two years or similar roles; this experience must be within the Private Security Sector

Good interpersonal skills

A working knowledge of MS Office

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record

Driver’s License & Own transport

Will be travelling to various sites in various regions daily
