Job Description
Primary purpose of the job: to assist the HR manager with daily HR related tasks
- Responsible for maintaining and updating staff files
- Minute taking at hearings and other forum meetings
- Co-ordinating training in conjunction with external training providers
- Capturing all training completed for WSP purposes
- Assisting HoDs with setting up shortlists and interviews for recruitment
- Capture leave and other payroll info on Sage People 300
- Answer minor HR queries and confirmation of employment queries
- Assist with generating UIF forms
- To liaise with HR manager to report anomalies, variances and new ideas for
improvements
Qualifications
Relevant Diploma or Degree SDF course
Skills
- Min 2 years experience in a similar position preferably within the hospitality industry.
- English - Well Spoken
- Xhosa speaking is an advantage
- Knowledge of Cathsseta online system for annual WSP as our SDF is advantageous
- Knowledge of Sage People 300 payroll is advantageous
- Computer literate on MS office suite
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Basic knowledge of BCEA, LRA, SDA and EEA
- Drivers Licence and own transport - this is a live in position within a game lodge. Working hours are Monday-Friday, not the standard game lodge leave cycle meaning they need to be able to leave the lodge should they wish to over the weekends (no transport can be provided for this)
- Candidate ideally to be Eastern Cape based for the same reason as above
