JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client within the FMCG industry is looking for a NPD Chef to join their team!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade and Develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products for Prepared Bonaero & Strand sites. Help drive & Initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
  • Project management of critical path with various teams to enable successful launches in line with customer agreements.
  • Customer presentations: highly professional product presentations, that deliver & exceed customer expectations on
  • Product quality and documentation.
  • Clear timeous communication: With customer and Internally/ cross sites
  • Ensuring NPD Recipes and documentation is captured and up to date against given timelines.
  • Support and input into Product QC Taste Panels, to help ensure products are manufactured to required specification.
  • Local and Global Market awareness TRENDS, constantly being aware of the market, trends & competition. Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
  • Customer Relationship, Project Management & Clear
  • Communication at multiple levels.

  • Culinary Food Knowledge,
  • Excellent cooking skills with ability to translate into a successful,
  • product to be produced in our factories,
  • Accurate documentation and information recording,
  • Planning & coordination,

  • Hands on involvement where required: Factory or Kitchen,

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-year Diploma: Advanced Culinary Arts, / Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking.
  • City & Guilds Diploma in Food & Cooking.
  • Experience in new product development will be beneficial.
