JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client within the FMCG industry is looking for a NPD Chef to join their team!

Responsibilities:

Upgrade and Develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products for Prepared Bonaero & Strand sites. Help drive & Initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
Project management of critical path with various teams to enable successful launches in line with customer agreements.
Customer presentations: highly professional product presentations, that deliver & exceed customer expectations on
Product quality and documentation.
Clear timeous communication: With customer and Internally/ cross sites
Ensuring NPD Recipes and documentation is captured and up to date against given timelines.
Support and input into Product QC Taste Panels, to help ensure products are manufactured to required specification.
Local and Global Market awareness TRENDS, constantly being aware of the market, trends & competition. Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
Customer Relationship, Project Management & Clear
Communication at multiple levels.

product to be produced in our factories,

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-year Diploma: Advanced Culinary Arts, / Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking.
City & Guilds Diploma in Food & Cooking.
Experience in new product development will be beneficial.
