National Cost Accountant - Bapsfontein

• Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems as well as provide a strong support to the rest of the business.
• Prepare, develop and analyses of financial information in order to support management decisions.
• Have a strong presence in managing stock variances
• Have strong controls in place to manage cost and have a continuous variance monitoring system implemented with relevant drivers for the variances.
• Weekly monitoring of site performance on yields and produce to Sales ratios.
• Strong support with annual budget process.
• Product Costing and viability testing
• Bill of Material creation
• Item Master creation and maintenance
• Weekly Gross Profit analysis for National business
• Analyze potential promotions to increase turnover or cutting unprofitable items
• Weekly forecasting including analyzing the produce (Raw material cost) as a ratio to turnover (PTS ratio)
• Yield Management in terms of investigating weekly stock losses based on Bill of material consumptions.
• Sales forecasting based on monthly and season sales trends
• Assist in aligning weekly growing programs to market trends (MRP)
• Revise Overhead, Labor, Depreciation and Distribution allocations on a quarterly basis
• Analise over and under recoveries

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in an Agricultural/FMCG industry preferred
• CIMA/BCOM qualification
• Pastel/Evolution; Advanced Excel skills

Candidate must be willing to travel to the Western Cape at least once a month

Salary - R500 kpa
