World-Class Software Consultancy based in Glasgow (although are offering a lot of remote working) are looking for a skilled .Net Developer to join one of their skilled projects team.
The company are well established, they've been running now for well over 15 years and are recognised as one of the 'go-to' consultancies for their services. The company mainly create large-scale platforms with modern Microsoft & Cloud based technologies - they live and breathe modern technology here and are always striving to work with the latest bit of kit, so are ideally looking for a similar fit.
The company have an experienced technical team well over 20 strong, boasting Front-End Developers, Full Stack Developers, UX Designers, Testers, Scrum Masters and of course - .Net Developers. As it stands, they're looking for an additional Developer to join the team, ideally with a good amount of commercial experience under their belt.
You'll ideally have at least a couple years of commercial experience with the .Net framework, most importantly with good exposure using modern web technologies - as you'll be using this daily. Equally, it would be pretty handy to have an understanding of front-end tools and modern JavaScript libraries (they use ReactJS + Typescript) - but you will have the opportunity to learn these tools on the job too.
The company are true believers on doing Software Development correctly and strongly adhere to best practices (TDD, BDD, SOLID) so they are looking for someone that also embody these principles. Equally they have adopted modern methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) so exposure with these approaches are very handy.
You'll ideally have commercial experience with the following;
** .Net framework (C#, MVC, .Net Core)
** Databases (SQL, MySQL, Entity Framework or MongoDB).
** Front-end tools (HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
** Working in an Agile environment.
Experience with the following is highly desirable;
** Cloud Services (Azure or AWS - they use both!).
** DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraforms).
** Modern JavaScript Libraries (ReactJS, Vue or Angular).
They're based in central Glasgow, however like many are working largely remotely with no real plans to return to the office (however the office is open for those that would rather work onsite!). They do plan to head back at some point for technical meetings, SPRINTS etc but will still offer a lot of home working long-term.
The salary on offer for this role is £30k - £60k on top of a good list of benefits, the company also help create tailored career plans for each employee and can offer loads of scope for career progression.
