JOB DESCRIPTION:

Network Security Engineer (mid-level)

Candidates based in Cape Town / Gauteng / Other areas within SA will be considered.

My Cybersecurity Client is looking for Engineers to assist in the delivery of their security services. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be working with various security technologies, these include: SASE technologies, Next Generation Firewalls, IPS, VPN, 2FA, MFA, DLP, CASB, Web Content Technologies and other relevant and emerging technologies in the cybersecurity space.

A background in network security technologies is essential!

Required Skill:
• Fortinet (Fortigate/FortiWAF/FortiAnalyser) technologies ESSENTIAL!
• Experience with other Firewall technologies
• Experience with WEB/DLP/CASB technologies

Beneficial Skills:
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Cisco Networking and Firewalls
• Check Point Firewalls
• Forcepoint (Web/DLP)
• Symantec/Bluecoat Web Proxy
• Netskope Web/CASB/DLP

Non-negotiable candidate character traits:

Roles and responsibilities include:
• Management of level 1 through to level 2 client related issues
• Project and deployment work
• Configuration, setup and troubleshooting on all relevant technologies
