SUMMARY:
Our Private Client which is based in Cape Town is seeking for Qualified Nutritionist for ongoing 6 months contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nutritionist Duties & Responsibilities

Feed formulations
Manage the nutrition/technical department and on-site laboratory
Product performance, quality and traceability including Salmonella program, sample management and Farm Feed Act
Liaison with sales department, key customers, industry bodies and other stakeholders Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and all QA systems

Desired Experience & Qualification

A minimum BSc Agriculture in animal nutrition (preferably Monogastric) and Post-graduate experience in nutrition would be an advantage
Have a minimum of 2 years work experience, preferably in a managerial capacity
Have a working knowledge and understanding of the FORMAT formulation system
Computer literate with MS Office experience, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Assertive self-motivated and quality driven
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Personal and professional integrity
Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans
A valid code 08 driver’s licence special-hidden
