SUMMARY:
Our Private Client which is based in Cape Town is seeking for Qualified Nutritionist for ongoing 6 months contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nutritionist Duties & Responsibilities

  • Feed formulations
  • Manage the nutrition/technical department and on-site laboratory
  • Product performance, quality and traceability including Salmonella program, sample management and Farm Feed Act
  • Liaison with sales department, key customers, industry bodies and other stakeholders Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and all QA systems


Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A minimum BSc Agriculture in animal nutrition (preferably Monogastric) and Post-graduate experience in nutrition would be an advantage
  • Have a minimum of 2 years work experience, preferably in a managerial capacity
  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of the FORMAT formulation system
  • Computer literate with MS Office experience, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Assertive self-motivated and quality driven
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans
  • A valid code 08 driver’s licence special-hidden
