JOB DESCRIPTION:

Isilumko Activate, a leading national Integrated Marketing Agency requires an Office Assistant in their Umhlanga branch, to start as soon as possible. 

The Office Assistant position will be a 3-month contract to start ASAP (15 November). 

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Basic computer / MS Office skills
  • Own reliable transport
  • Able to work through the entire festive season, including after hours and on weekends and public holidays
  • There will be a lot of driving around and physical work like lifting and carrying of boxes 
  • Reliable – work references to confirm this

 

Role:

  • Manage and be responsible for our Umhlanga office under direct management from JHB with all support necessary provided by the rest of the Activate team. This person will be the keyholder for the office.
  • Receive couriered items such as uniforms, samples, collateral and report to Head Office (HO) on stock holding.
  • Organise and facilitate promoter training in conjunction with HO.
  • Kit out promoters for activations.
  • Receive promoter kits back in good order and report to HO.
  • Arrange couriers to other regions.
  • Manage and coordinate promoters on the ground, if necessary.
  • Ad hoc errands such as shopping, local deliveries etc.
