POSITION INFO:

Key Requirements:

• Nursing Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Nursing, with at least 5 years of post-basic experience
• Theatre Specialisation: Diploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essential
• Postgraduate Education: A postgraduate qualification in Management or Nursing Education will be advantageous
• Registration: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified theatre registered nurse, with proven leadership and people management experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial management, and change management principles
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
• Other: Valid driver’s license and own transport
