Our client in the retail industry has an opportunity for an Order Clerk Consultant.

 

Requirements:

  • Matric or relevant clerk order experience.
  • Stationery experience.
  • Order taking experience.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good and clear call speaking manner.
  • Be able to work flexible hours.
  • Be able to work in a team.
  • Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the company catalogue, products and stock codes.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the product packaging and suppliers.
  • Understand AXAPTA and all functionalities.
  • Understand cost prices, selling prices, gross profits and mark-up calculations.
  • Understand the contract pricing, buyout costing and book prices.
  • Be able to deal with customer complaints and follow through with the complaint.

KPAs:

  • Responsible for ensuring effective end-to-end order-to-cash processes to maximize service, while providing relevant information regarding all issues that impact the sound customer relations and the agreed customer service level.
  • Responsible for creating a positive image for the company through calls and written interaction.
  • Process customer orders on receipts, following the validation process to ensure accuracy and advising customers if anything is out of stock.
  • Communicate with customers via call or email informing them of any delivery information, price changes and handling complaints.
  • Ensure that the order validation process is followed.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to customer information and orders.
  • Follow up on sales quotes and negotiate prices.
  • Assist with any credit note requests.

This is a 6 month contact with the possibility of becoming permanent dependent on your performance.
