Job Description
This is hybrid role and will have flexibility in working remotely but will be required to attend the office for in-person meetings and financial updates as needed.
Your duties will encompass:
- Managing and overseeing the financial records.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team, providing support in managing the day-to-day accounting functions.
- Maintain financial records.
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring that all invoices are recorded, processed, and paid/received.
- Manage Petty Cash.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist the finance manager with management reports, providing detailed insights on the financial performance of the business.
- Ensure all relevant employee data like leave, overtime, deductions are correctly recorded and processed for payroll purposes.
Qualifications
- Matric.
- National Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
- Membership or certification with professional bodies (e.g., ICB, AAT).
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Proficient in Sage and Xero.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other formulas).
