Responsibilities:

  • Personal Assistant/Secretarial function to Financial Director:
    • Expense claims recons, checking and prepping for payment
    • Petty Cash custodian/administrator
    • Leave record maintenance and reconciliation for salaried staff
    • Travel, accommodation and car hire bookings
    • Stationery stock control and purchasing
    • Medical Aid and Pension Fund liaison and administrator
    • Preparation of Board Pack data and printing of Board Packs for Directors meetings
    • Vehicle fleet card administration and liaison
    • Recon of Managing Director monthly credit card statement
    • Time and attendance admin and liaison for hours short reporting
    • Cleaning personnel manager for the admin block and yard areas
    • Office garden maintenance overseer
    • Purchasing of specialised cleaning materials, gifts and various other ad hoc purchases
    • Tea and coffee stock control and purchasing
    • Health and Safety representative for the admin block
    • Landlord liaison
    • Ad-hoc arranging of temp personnel
    • Company stationery and signage stock control and design
    • Online banking administration
    • Company condolences/congratulations cards and flowers administrator
    • Recycling of paper and printer cartridges
    • Sanitation and Pest Control co-ordinator
    • Stock control and purchasing of restroom and cleaners’ consumables

Experience required:

  • PowerPoint Presentations (know-how is vital)
  • Computer literate
  • Secretarial certificate/Courses preferable
  • 3-7 years experience required
  • Matric is a minimum requirement
  • Own transport is essential
