PLC Technician

Job & Company Description:
We have partnered with a progressive solutions provider who would like to recruit a PLC Control Software Engineer to design and do the commissioning of their PLC HMI system. other duties include taking part in factory automation projects, ensuring that conveyors and machines are working, and handing over the project. The majority (90%) of the work will be Siemens S7 based, writing new PLC code, or modifying existing Siemens software for each project (some might be Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation biased) and configuring HMI's too. This is a highly progressive environment and looking for individual who will be part of their growth.
 
Education:

• Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics / Electronics

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Ability to work shifts and move between project and support roles
• 3 to 5 years work experience
• Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC programming
• C# programming Optional
• SCADA
• Robots
• Electrical Design
• Mech Design
