PMO Analyst required for a growing software company in Glasgow.
The Business
They are a growing software company who focus on a niche area of finance software. They are now industry leaders in the UK and expanding globally. They are looking to expand now into Europe and the US and are hiring at scale. Over the last two years, they have rebuilt their product into a SaaS based cloud offering and have ultimately re-modernised the environment.
In the last two years, they have brought in a number of new technical hires and they have ambitions to double in size in the next five years. They have recently moved back into their office, post Covid and also post refurbishment. Their office is just to the east of Glasgow and the business have moved to a hybrid working environment. They would ask for you to be in the office for two to three days weekly, and are totally flexible out with this.
The environment is hugely collaborative, the tech is cutting edge, they have a cloud first approach and the team are keen to hear any idea you might have on automating or improving the current system. You will work alongside some enviable names in the industry and you will have a key part to play in the team.
The role
The position is the first PMO hire into the company. The business has recently set up a new Project Management Office, with the new move to a cloud-first approach. You will be working alongside three other Senior Project Managers, and this role has been created in order to aid them and to help grow the product.
In terms of role responsibilities, you will be purely involved in the new product and software functionality. You will be involved in a lot of coordination kick offs with the PM's and dealing with specific tickets, development stories and generally working to improve both the PMO and the SaaS product. This is a role for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and the desire to learn from some very experienced Project Manager's.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Background in PMO, Junior Project Management or software administration
** An interest in developing skills within a Project Management office
** Key eye for detail and very strong (internal) stakeholder management skills
** Ability to drive the implementation of a new SaaS platform, supporting teams and management in its use and ongoing evolution
** Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables
** Provide effective management support to the project management team and project leads
** Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
** Collaborate with developers, testers, designers and other technical experts to ensure accurate information is captured and documented
