SUMMARY:
Join a leading provider of air conditioning and HVAC products and services at their Cape Town branch. With substantial experience in HVAC, the Project Manager is responsible delivering excellence through effective interaction with clients, suppliers and the internal projects teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will have:

a relevant Project Management / Mechanical Degree / Trade-related qualification
5 years’ experience in a Project Management role as well as mechanical and electrical knowledge of machines and tools
Excellent understanding in HVAC systems, the various components, their functions and proactively seek out knowledge
Own vehicle and Driver’s License

The ideal candidate will:

Be dynamic and able to manage a project on site
Manage the BOQ and ordering of relevant materials
Take responsibility for Claim submissions
Take care of variation order quotes and approvals
Project plan with date of works and completion deadlines
Manage all site meetings and site instructions
Book teams and have strict control of labour on jobs
Manage and understand any contra chargers
Understanding of building contracts
Be able to read and measure on plans
Be able to measure on site
Liaise with engineers and builders
Have responsibility of completed job scope and have as built plans aligned
Compile and submit O&M manual
Have excellent communication and attention to detailed planning
