Packhouse Manager

The company requires the services of a dynamic and motivated Packhouse Manager who will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the total packaging process in terms of productivity, effectivity, protocol adherence, packing tempo and quality control
• Management of packhouse costs within budget
• Packing material management
• Maintenance and housekeeping
• Occupational health and safety
• Personnel management

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary (agricultural/production) qualification
• Sound knowledge and experience in the management of fruit packing processes will be a recommendation
• Practical experience regarding quality assurance
• Good personnel management skills
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Thorough attention to detail
• Task oriented and results driven
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Computer literate (MS Office, Vitrax will be advantageous)

A market-related remuneration package, in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
