Packhouse Manager

My client is a leading multinational supplier of fresh fruit and related products to international markets and is today the largest global supplier of avocados, operating over 5 continents and in 16 countries, is searching for a skilled Packhouse Manager to join their team in Tzaneen to be responsible for coordination and supervision of all pack-house related activities at the facility.
 
Minimum qualification requirements and skills:

• BSc Horticulture or similar qualification.
• 5 years’ experience in packhouse management
• Experience of working with BRC / HACCP
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Knowledge

• Knowledge of subtropical fruit packing industry
• Knowledge of the ERP system & Paltrac system
• HACCP knowledge
• Computer literate

Skills

• Good people and management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good administrative and numerical skills
• Stock control skills

Attitude/Behaviour

• Attention to detail and goal orientated
• Dedicated, self-motivated and confident
• Ability to handle external audits
• Ability to work under pressure
