Role Overview
Our client, in the digital marketing industry, is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Page Builder to join their team. This role is crucial in bringing their clients' visions to life by designing and developing aesthetically pleasing and highly functional web pages using the WordPress Block Editor.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually stunning web pages using the WordPress Block Editor.
- Ensure all web pages are responsive, user-friendly, and align with the latest design trends.
- Collaborate with our design and content teams to ensure cohesive and effective web layouts.
- Optimize web pages for speed and performance.
- Maintain consistency in branding and style across various web pages.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Tertiary qualification in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Page Builder or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with the WordPress Block Editor.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles.
- Keen eye for design and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate client requirements into visually appealing web pages.
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma is a plus.
Area: Wherever the wifi is! Remote work for a company based in the UK.
Position type and working hours: Full time permanent position, working hours are 9am - 6pm SA time (8am to 5pm UK)
Salary: R 20 000- R25 000 CTC per month, negotiable and depending on experience.
